Nicky Sparks does it again! Only this time, it’s diff—

—oh wait, it’s exactly the same If you have any experience with Nicholas Sparks’ work, and have somehow not seen or read Safe Haven, simply retrace the plotlines of each and every other story of his, and you’ll match it up with his newest film adaptation of yet another of his monotonous novels. While I have had the rather dull pleasure of reading only one … Continue reading Nicky Sparks does it again! Only this time, it’s diff—

The U.S. prison system, which overcrowds inmates, encourages rape, and disproportionately affects minorities is built around retributive justice and maximizing profit, not rehabilitation. The ineffectiveness of this system is evidenced by our very high … Continue reading Letter to the Editor (4/10/13)

Nobody says goodbye

“I’m nobody! Who are you? Are you nobody, too? Then there’s a pair of us—don’t tell! They’d banish us; you know! How dreary to be somebody! How public like a frog To tell one’s name the livelong day To an admiring bog!” -Emily Dickinson I’ve been struggling to write this opinion for a while now. I realized it’s because I’m nobody. It’s tradition for senior … Continue reading Nobody says goodbye
