What did they do afterwards? They did what any franchise that made over $500 million would do (other than make spin-off TV shows or reboots).  They made a sequel. Does Despicable Me 2 … Continue reading Despicable Me 2: even more minion madness

As the coin teetered on the table after … Continue reading Gustie of the Week: Becca Eastwood

So much for Swedish punctuality, I think as I  throw together a quick breakfast and hop on my second-hand silver Neptune bike. I have noticed … Continue reading Tales from Abroad (9/27/2013)

Both movies revolve around terrorist attacks on the White House.  Although it has a similar premise to another movie, can White … Continue reading White House Down…way down

Aftermeth: Looking back at Breaking Bad

It all started with a news article. Show creator Vince Gilligan and writer Tom Schanuz who wrote together for the X-Files were talking about an article in the New York Times on a meth cook who was making kids sick while cooking. A week later Gilligan told Schanuz that he had an idea about a show featuring a chemistry teacher cooking meth. What would later … Continue reading Aftermeth: Looking back at Breaking Bad
