Russian Study Abroad Program suspended: Gustavus joins two other American colleges to end program

Last week, Gustavus abruptly suspended all study abroad programs to Russia for the indefinite future due to the closure of the U.S. consulate in St. Petersburg. Gustavus is only the third college in the nation to make the decision to halt study abroad programming to Russia. The Gusties headed to Mankato on May 4th to compete in the Minnesota State University Twilight meet where both the women’s and men’s teams registered strong performances.
