Campus Safety Report (9/11/2014)

Wednesday, August 27

●The Director of Campus Safety investigated a report of suspected hazing that occurred off campus in May 2014.

Thursday, August 28

●A Campus Safety Officer responded to a report of vandalism at Uhler Hall. An offensive message was written on a student’s white-board.

●A Campus Safety Officer responded to Health Service for a medical assist for an injury that occurred in Nobel Hall.

Friday, August 29 

●Campus Safety assisted the Saint Peter Police Department at Arbor View Apartments. One student was referred to the campus conduct system for underage consumption of alcohol.

●Campus safety responded to a medical assist by Hollingsworth Stadium lot.

Saturday, August 30

●Collegiate Fellows and Campus Safety responded to a student of concern in Sohre Hall.  The student was transported by ambulance to the hospital. One student was referred to the Campus Conduct System for underage consumption.

●Campus Safety responded to Johnson Student Union. One student was referred to the Campus Conduct System for underage consumption.

Sunday, August 31 

●Two students reported to Collegiate Fellows in Norelius Hall receiving unwanted messages from another student.

●One student was referred to the Campus Conduct System for underage consumption and underage possession on college grounds.

●Collegiate Fellows documented possible underage consumption in Sorensen Hall.

●Campus Safety responded to an alcohol violation on College grounds involving one underage non-student and one Gustavus student.  The non-student was trespassed from campus.

●A Collegiate Fellow documented an attempted alcohol violation in Norelius Hall involving one student.

Tip of the Week:

Red (student) and Green (employee) permit parking enforcement begins 7 a.m. on the first day of classes and continues through graduation.

A parking permit is required for students and staff to park on campus.  Review parking information and make sure you know the regulations so you don’t get ticketed!

Common parking errors:

●Three-flags circle is no parking any time, even with hazards on ($50 citation).

●Green permit parking is no parking 2 a.m.-7 a.m., 7 days a week ($30 citation).

●All parking in the Stadium/Beck parking lot is marked No Parking 2 a.m.-7 a.m., 7 days a week ($30 citation).

●Visitor parking is closed to students and staff at all times ($30 citation).

●A vehicle is not registered until the permit is properly displayed on the vehicle (right-rear bumper).
