Campus Safety Report (11/6/15)

Monday, October 12

• Campus Safety responded to a medical assist in the Lund Center. One student was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

• Campus Safety responded to a medical assist at the Broadway Practice Fields. One student was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Tuesday, October 13

• Collegiate Fellows responded to a noise violation in Norelius Hall involving six students.

Thursday, October 15
• Campus Safety documented the theft of College property from College grounds. An Event Parking sign was taken from the Stadium parking lot.

•  Campus Safety discovered a College policy violation in Southwest Hall.

Saturday, October 17

• Campus Safety and Collegiate Fellows recovered Gustavus property in Norelius Hall. Three chairs believed to be from the Lund Center were discovered while on patrol.

• Campus Safety investigated a suspicious circumstance at the Music Building. A student was found to have stayed overnight in an academic building.
• Campus Safety responded to a roommate issue at Pittman Hall.

• Campus Safety responded to theft of personal property report from an unlocked locker in the Lund Center.

• Campus Safety responded to theft of personal property report from an unlocked locker in the Lund Center.

• Campus Safety responded to a medical assist in Lund Center.

Sunday, October 18

• Campus Safety responded to an alcohol violation in Norelius Hall. One student was transported by ambulance to the St Peter Hospital and referred to the campus conduct system for underage consumption of alcohol.

• Campus Safety responded to a suspicious person and disorderly conduct complaint in the Jackson Campus Center. Two persons who were not identified were reported to have thrown food and rattled office door handles before exiting the building.

• Campus Safety responded to a medical assist in the International Center.

Monday, October 19

• A Gustavus student reported possible vehicle damage/tampering in the Campus Drive parking lot on Friday, October 16 and receiving a nuisance communication on October 10.

• Campus Safety responded to the International Center to take a report of a student receiving unwanted communications from an off campus person. The student also reported domestic violence and threatening communications that occurred the previous academic year.

Wednesday, October 21

• Campus Safety responded to a medical assist at the west practice fields.

• Campus Safety responded to Sorensen Hall for possible drug violation.

Thursday, October 22

• Campus Safety received a report of a student who was injured while off campus and transported to the hospital.

• Campus Safety was notified of a report of sexual assault-fondling that occurred in the Fall of 2012 in the Peterson House.

• Campus Safety was notified of a report of sexual assault that occurred in the Spring of 2014 in Pittman Hall.

• Campus Safety was notified of a report of sexual assault that occurred in the Fall of 2014 in Sohre Hall.

• Campus Safety was notified of a report of sexual assault-fondling that occurred on October 4, 2015 in Southwest Hall.

• A Collegiate Fellow responded to an animal policy violation in College View Apartments.

Friday, October 23

• Campus Safety responded to a drug violation in Norelius Hall. One student was referred to the campus conduct system for possession of paraphernalia.

• Campus Safety responded to a suspected drug violation in Sorensen Hall.

Saturday, October 24

• Campus Safety investigated an odor and visual of smoke on College grounds. Burnt papers were found between the International Center and Olin Hall.

Sunday, October 25

• Collegiate Fellows responded to a noise violation in Norelius Hall involving one student.

Monday, October 26

• Campus Safety responded to North Hall for a medical assist.

• Collegiate Fellows and Campus Safety responded to a noise violation in Norelius Hall involving five students.

• Campus Safety responded to an alcohol violation in Norelius Hall. Two students were referred to the campus conduct system for underage consumption and possession of alcohol and cited by the Saint Peter Police Department for alcohol violations after failing to comply with Campus Safety.

Tuesday, October 27

• Campus Safety responded to an alcohol violation in Uhler Hall. One student was referred to the campus conduct system for underage consumption of alcohol.

• Campus Safety responded to a suspected drug violation in Norelius Hall.  Two students were referred to the conduct system for a smoking policy violation.

Thursday, October 29

• Campus Safety responded to a suspected weapon policy violation in the Sorensen parking lot. A color-guard sword was observed in a student vehicle and the student was asked to store it off campus.
• A student reported the theft of his bicycle from the College View bike rack.

• Campus Safety responded to a suspected weapons policy violation in Pittman Hall. An archery set reported to be intended for a Halloween costume was found in a student room and checked in to Campus Safety.

Friday, October 30

• Campus Safety responded to the Lund Center for a report of theft of personal property from an unlocked locker.

• Five students in Uhler Hall were referred to the campus conduct board for underage consumption and two students were referred for underage possession of alcohol.

Saturday, October 31

• A student reported threatening communications and a student of concern.
• A Collegiate Fellow responded to a smoking policy violation in Norelius Hall involving one student.

• Campus Safety responded to an alcohol violation in Norelius Hall involving one student. One student was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

• Campus Safety responded to an alcohol violation on College grounds outside Norelius Hall. One student was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

• Campus Safety responded to an alcohol violation in Norelius Hall. One student was referred to the campus conduct system for underage consumption of alcohol.
