RE: Why Gustavus Hates Conservatives
I am writing in response to an article published in the Oct. 7 issue of the Gustavian Weekly. I know this is belated, but I find the issue still pertinent. I took great issue with Drew Ajer’s article “Why Gustavus Hates Conservatives.” Now, to be clear, I am not a Republican. I do hold some right wing views but by and large I am more … Continue reading RE: Why Gustavus Hates Conservatives
RE: Rock Painting of 2010
I write this letter as a straight woman, as an ally and as a Christian. During Coming Out Week this year I, like the writers of last week’s letter to the editor, was often reminded of the anniversary of the Bible reference rock painting. G.O.L.D. Program teaches Gusties leadership skills
Gusties in Ongoing Leadership Development (G.O.L.D.) has been a fixture on the Gustavus campus for years, but new improvements in the past two years have completely revamped it. The program features three levels: the bronze, silver and gold. The classes are free and any student can participate at any time.
