The black and white pages of the library’s books are going to be livened up with some colorful floral decorations this weekend in the Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library. Matt Rasmussen receives Walt Whitman Award

Visiting Assistant Professor of English, Matt Rasmussen (’98), has been chosen by poet Jane Hirshfield as the recipient of the 2012 Walt Whitman Award, presented by the Academy of American Poets. With changes to health plan regulations and the Affordable Care Act by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the supplemental insurance policy that has been offered to students will no longer be available as of next year.
