Tip of the Week:

Lost and Found

There is a campus Lost and Found program managed through Campus Safety. Anyone can submit a Lost Property Report on the Campus Safety web page

https://gustavus.edu/safety/ or email safety@gustavus.edu with the subject line ‘Lost and Found’ and including the following information: Name, contact information, description of item as detailed as possible (size, brand, model, color), date lost and location lost if known.

All incoming items are checked against Lost Property Reports on file. If you submit a report, you will be contacted if your item is turned in. If you believe your item was stolen, contact Campus Safety at 507-933-8888.

If your item has your name/contact information on it or is linked to you (campus keys, ID, etc), Campus Safety always attempts to find the owner for all items turned in and would contact you.

Anyone finding clothing, keys, books, jewelry, wallets, electronics, sports equipment or other items on campus should bring these found items immediately to Campus Safety. Lost and Found items will be held for thirty days. Campus Safety understands the impact of losing personal belongings and is committed to ensuring that every effort is made to return lost and found items to the owners as quickly as possible. With your help, we can make Lost and Found work for everyone.

  1. This campus reports are really useful. I find these reports entertaining and some times alarming though. These reports give students the upper hand to be cautious and aware. Nice!
