Campus Safety Report (9/22/17)

Monday, September 11

  • Campus Safety responded to a report of theft of College property at the Jackson Campus Center. A tampon machine was broken into and money was taken.
  • Campus Safety responded to a policy violation in the International Center. A paint-ball gun was found in a storage room. No owner was identified.
  • Residential Life documented a candle policy violation in Southwest Hall.
  • Campus Safety responded to a maintenance/plumbing problem in Norelius Hall.

Tuesday, September 12

  • Campus Safety received a report of unwanted sexual fondling and simple assault that occurred in a campus residence hall.  The case has been referred to the Title IX Coordinator.
  • An online report was submitted about a loud/speeding vehicle heard outside Southwest Hall on that and two previous nights.incidents reported
  • An online report was submitted about gender-based bias-related language found on a whiteboard in the Womyn’s Awareness Center in the Jackson Campus Center.

Wednesday, September 13

  • An employee reported receiving nuisance communications related to a personal Facebook account.

Friday, September 15

  • An online report was submitted about ‘disrespectful’ conduct by a student while in Christ Chapel on September 14, 2017.
  • Campus Safety and Residential Life responded to an underage alcohol violation in Norelius Hall. Case referred to the campus conduct system.

Saturday, September 16

  • Campus Safety took a report of suspicious circumstances. A third-party report was made of students approached off campus by non-Gustavus students making unwanted physical contact on September 8, 2017, as well as an attempt by non-students to access a residence hall on September 16, 2017.
  • Campus Safety and Residential Life responded to an underage alcohol violation in Norelius Hall. Case referred to the campus conduct system.

Sunday, September 17

  • Campus Safety and Residential Life responded to a medical assist and underage alcohol violation in Norelius Hall.
