Feb. 16 – Feb. 21 Safety Report

Tuesday, February 16

  • A Gustavus student in Rundstrom Hall was cited for underage alcohol possession and two students, were given College policy violations.

Wednesday, February 17

  • A motor vehicle accident occurred involving a College vehicle and a privately owned vehicle.

Thursday, February 18

  • Campus Safety responded to a call for a Medical Assist in Rundstrom Hall.
  • A report was filed with Campus Safety in reference to a dispute between a Gustavus employee and a student.

Saturday, February 20

  • A non-Gustavus student was cited at the Dive dance for liquor violation/underage by the St Peter Police Department and trespassed from campus for one year.  A Gustavus student was cited by Campus Safety for Liquor violation/underage, social host responsibility, failure to comply with College staff, and giving false information to College staff.
  • Campus Safety responded to a domestic dispute in The Carlson International Center.
  • Two students and one non-Gustavus student were cited for underage consumption of alcohol by the SPPD and Campus Safety. One student was cited for a social host violation.

Sunday, February 21

  • A student while in Uhler Hall was cited by Campus Safety and SPPD for underage consumption of alcohol.
  • A student while in Pittman Hall was cited for a drug and narcotic violation.

Tip of the Week

Automobiles

  • Keep your automobile locked at all times. Keep doors locked when traveling alone.
  • Don’t park your automobile in secluded or dimly lit areas.
  • Do not keep valuables or electronics in plain sight in your automobile.
  • When walking to your automobile at night, have your keys readily in hand.
  • Always check the back seat before getting into your automobile.
  • Never offer rides to strangers or hitchhikers.
  • Check your automobile daily.
