• A Gustavus employee reported damage to property in College View. A fire extinguisher was discharged in a restroom.
• Campus Safety investigated the possible theft of a picture from the Johnson Student Union. The painting was later recovered.
Tuesday, February 14
• A Gustavus employee reported the theft of a painting from Rundstrom Hall. The painting was later recovered.
Wednesday, February 15
• Campus Safety investigated the possible theft of a painting from Olin hall. The painting was recovered.
• A theft from an unsecured backpack in the Lund Center was reported to Campus Safety.
• Two students were cited for Drug/Narcotic Violations and Drug Equipment Violations in Pittman Hall.
Friday, February 17
• A student reported a theft from an unlocked locker in the Lund Center that occurred on Thursday, February 16.
Saturday, February 18
• A student was cited with underage consumption and possession of alcohol at the Lund Center.
• A student was cited with underage consumption in the Lund Center.
Sunday, February 19
• Campus Safety responded to a Medical Assist in Norelius Hall.
• One non-Gustavus student and one Gustavus student were cited by Campus Safety and SPPD for an underage consumption of alcohol in Rundstrom Hall. The non-Gustavus student was issued a Trespass Warning. The Gustavus student was cited for a Social Host violation.
• Five students were cited with a policy violation for a noise violation in Gibbs Hall.
• Two non-Gustavus students on College grounds were issued Trespass Warnings from Campus Safety.

• Travel in groups.
• Be aware of your surroundings. Avoid listening to headphones or talking on cell phones while walking.
• Report suspicious persons, vehicles and activities to Campus Safety at x8888 or at any blue light campus phone.
• Keep your doors locked whenever you find yourself alone in a building.
• Do not prop doors open.
• Lock your doors every time you leave your room, even if you are just going down the hall.
• Lock your door when you go to sleep at night.
• If you hear someone trying to open doors on your floor, contact Campus Safety.
• Do not leave backpacks or computers unattended.
• If you believe you have had items stolen, do not hesitate to call Campus Safety.
