Is this website a blog?
While this website is listed under the “Blogs” heading on the Gustavus site, it is not a “blog” in the common sense of the word. The stories here are all selected from each week’s issue of The Weekly, and published on the same day as the physical edition of The Weekly. This website is a news oriented, team-driven and student-edited newspaper made available on the internet.
What makes this website different from the print version of The Gustavian Weekly?
The print version of The Weekly is quite a bit longer, with more articles, ads and other information. This website is composed of “selections” from each issue of The Gustavian Weekly and as such, cannot be seen as the exact equivalent of the print copy. What this website does offer, are the abilities to comment on stories and access the most important stories of the week from anywhere with an internet connection.
Where can I get the print edition of The Weekly
There are multiple distribution bins across campus providing free copies of The Weekly to all those on campus. For subscription information, please see our Subscribe page.
How do I write a letter to the editor?
