This Monday, South African playwright, author, and poet Zakes Mda flew into Minneapolis from the University of Ohio on the heels of the flurries. There is a committee at Gustavus comprised of students and faculty who are dedicated to the new Interfaith Space and getting students involved it. The Gustavus student body voted Sophomore Communications Studies Majors Danielle Cabrera and Matthew Timmons as Student Senate Co-presidents for the 2013-2014 academic year.
